Letter #1 from Beatles & Co
In 1969 the Beatles Book monthly magazine ran a prize draw for 50 lucky fans to win tickets for a planned Beatles live concert to be filmed in Tunisia or the Roundhouse, which never took place. Instead David received an advance copy of Abbey Road, and this letter signed by Ringo and Apple executive Peter Brown. |

In February 1970 David sent John Lennon a portrait which he had made at school, and received this interesting reply from Peter Brown which refers to the 'Get Back' premiere (not then titled Let It Be). |

Let It Be Premiere Ticket
Probably as a result of his earlier letter, David was surprised and delighted to receive an invitation and two tickets to the Let It Be premiere on May 20 1970. Unfortunately The Beatles had just broken up, and none of them attended the event. 35 years later the DVD of the movie is finally about to be released! |

John & Yoko Sign 'Grapefruit'
Selfridges, London, July 15 1971
J&Y did extensive publicity in July 1971 for Yoko's paperback book 'Grapefruit,' including a signing session at London's Selfridges store on Oxford Street. This was the last time that David ever saw John, who on August 31st 1971 left the UK forever to move to New York City with Yoko. |

David has bumped into Paul on many occasions, but most of them were not photographed. Paul was recording the 'Give My Regards To Broad Street' soundtrack album around the time this was taken, when David was visiting Air Studios to do a cover story for a pro-audio magazine he was editing. |
