GIANLUCA PAGANELLI "TANGO" OUT OCTOBER 4TH

Gianluca Paganelli - Tango

Following their world wide joint venture and admin deal with Imagem Music in winter 2009, Mission Publishing and Recordings are set to launch on September 19th, the first act on their new label, Mission Recordings Ltd., and in keeping with the creative nature of its founder Sir Harry Cowell, the first artist is not just a great vocal talent, but Gianluca is also likely to re invent a genre of music within the UK as his album is a collection of classic Tango interpretations. A musical style that has always been controversial as well as hugely passionate, it is this element that has started to ignite many of the female market the team are targeting. It is hoped, with Gianluca's movie star looks, enormous vocal range and perhaps one of the most written about dance forms, the chances of success in the long term are very positive.
In addition The Mission Recordings Ltd team have also been strategic with regards the pr and promotions companies they have bought in to work with Gianluca, choosing the same team who were instrumental in breaking Russell Watson in the UK, Lisa Davies Promotions and Quite Great Communications, subsequently helping Russell to go on and become a multimillion selling artist. Hence it is hoped the same magic can be created with Gianluca, and the signs are very good so far with radio and print media all showing great interest in this new classical talent from Italy.
Mission Publishing and Imagem Music have got five of their songs on the album including Rogers and Hammerstein's 'No Other Love' which is a publishing asset of Imagem. So this new agreement it is hoped will bear fruit rapidly adding to the business development taking place in the ever growing Mission Entertainment Group which already owns two recording studios as well as its management company, and the publishing and label which goes through Absolute Marketing and Distribution.
'We are all very excited about Gianluca' explains Sir Harry Cowell, 'Having worked with many artists in the classical world including the likes of Katherine Jenkins I can safely say Gianluca is the real deal. We are putting a huge amount of effort into this initial release and it is a very important step for us and all involved but so far all the signs are good and we hope that Gianluca will be turning the UK onto the Tango through the winter of 2010 and this will be the platform for a great career.'
The second release on the newly formed Mission Recordings Ltd will be in January in the form of the wonderful Demi Holborn who has already broken a record as the youngest female artist ever to enter the Top 40. So the next quarter of 2010 is likely to be extremely busy for Sir Harry Cowell and all his team.
