AND IN THE END: THE DEATH AND LIFE OF JOHN LENNON
December 8, 1980. 10.52pm. The Dakota Apartments, New York City. Five bone-chilling gunshots ring out shattering the stillness of the night. One of the most iconic figures of the 20th century lies in a pool of blood struggling for life. Time stops. Fighting to stay alive, John Lennon finds himself caught in a limbo between life and death. As his former years flash before him, Gatekeepers of his past help him confront the five stages of death: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance. And in the end, John shows us that sometimes what lies beyond us matters less than what lies within us.
Written and directed by Emmy® Award-winner Alexander Marshall and starring Valentine Pelka as Lennon, AND IN THE END is a searching, uplifting and humorous insight into the death and life of one of the most influential rock musicians of all time. John Lennon's sister Julia Baird said, "It's the most accurate piece ever written on my brother's life." The on-target story is so powerful and revealing that Rod Davis of John Lennon's original group The Quarrymen said, "After so many people have got John's story wrong... it's great to see someone come along and finally get it right."

BEWARE OF YOUNG GIRLS: THE DORY PREVIN STORY
This is the story of Dory Previn, queen of 70s confessional songwriters. Dory was married to Andre Previn when he ran off with Mia Farrow and this led to one of Dory's most famous songs 'Beware of Young Girls', but her life is much more than this. Told through Dory's songs, performed by jazz singer Kate Dimbleby, accompanied by pianist Naadia Sheriff, with film projections and between-song humorous banter, this is a theatrical recreation of key elements of Previn's life and a snap-shop of a vibrant time.
The show is written with Amy Rosenthal and directed by superstar comedy director Cal McCrystal (Peepolykus and the award winning show One Man, Two Guvnors). "In an age where audiences are driven to elation by screeching high-belt notes, special effects and reality TV searches, a touching, raw-voiced storyteller brings us back home to what many subconsciously yearn for - authenticity." - The Stage
