PEERMUSIC ACQUIRES JOHN CARTER MUSIC
Peermusic UK have acquired the rights to the John Carter Music catalogue and its sister record label Sunny Records which includes international hits such as 'Beach Baby' by First Class which was a number one single in the USA.
Peermusic's Managing Director Nigel Elderton said, "We are delighted to have acquired these great copyrights and many of their original recordings. John and Gill Carter have performed a wonderful job in licencing and exploiting these titles for many years and it is gratifying to know that they have the confidence in my peer team to carry on their good work. We will be looking forward to meeting our licencing partners to discuss further opportunities for the promotion and release of the Sunny masters, while the publishing rights will be represented by peer offices around the world."
