British public media business Conexion Media Group plc (CXM) has joined forces with Kid Gloves Music Group. The acquisition by Conexion Media Group plc formally announced in mid-March sees Kid Gloves Music Group forming the West Coast Sales Division and being rebranded as Conexion Entertainment Group USA (CEG). Based in Los Angeles, CEG will market the newly expanded and combined music catalogues and services of both organizations to the film and television studios. The new venture offers CEG clients a broadening of services with a worldwide reach through Conexion's international divisions in Europe and Asia, specializing in music supervision, licensing,marketing, administration and production for film, television. The combined client rooster include, Hasbro, Times Group of India, Hearst, Viacom, The Walt Disney Company, Sony Pictures Television, Warner Bros, Comcast, NBC/Universal, the Weinstein Company, Saatchi & Saatchi and TBWA/Chiat Day.
